Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all purchases from MUZZPLATES. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Custom-Made Plates & Customer Responsibility

All MUZZPLATES are made to order using the details provided at checkout.

It is your responsibility to ensure all information entered is accurate and complete, including:

  • Vehicle registration
  • Character spacing
  • Plate size and shape
  • Style, finish, badge and border options

Plates are manufactured exactly as entered. We are not responsible for errors made during ordering.

2. Bespoke Goods & Cancellations

All MUZZPLATES products are custom-made items.

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, personalised goods are exempt from cancellation rights.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started
  • Change-of-mind cancellations are not accepted
  • Customer input errors are not eligible for refund

If you need to amend an order, contact us immediately. Changes may only be possible before production begins.

3. Refunds, Returns & Faulty Items

Refunds or replacements are only provided where:

  • A manufacturing error has occurred
  • The product is faulty or defective
  • The order arrives damaged

You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.

Once verified, we will resolve the issue with a replacement or refund where appropriate.

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates.

Once dispatched, courier delays are outside our control and do not qualify for refunds.

We will assist with tracking and resolving issues where possible.

5. Road-Legal Plates & Legal Responsibility

All MUZZPLATES are manufactured as road-legal number plates in line with:

  • BS AU 145e standards
  • DVLA regulations

By ordering, you confirm that:

  • The registration belongs to you or your vehicle
  • The plate will be displayed in accordance with UK law

We do not supply show plates.

6. Documentation & Compliance

As a DVLA-registered supplier, we are legally required to verify identity and entitlement.

We reserve the right to:

  • Request documentation before production
  • Delay or cancel orders where documents are not provided
  • Retain records in line with DVLA requirements

Information may be shared with authorities where legally required.

7. Misuse & Liability

You are responsible for the lawful use of your number plates.

MUZZPLATES accepts no liability for misuse, misrepresentation, or unlawful display.

We are not liable for indirect losses, including fines, penalties, or vehicle-related issues resulting from incorrect information provided.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, images and designs remain the property of MUZZPLATES and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10. Acceptance

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Service.
