Returns, Refunds & Warranty
Number plates are custom-made products. Because of this, different rules apply compared to standard retail goods. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
Custom-Made Plates (Non-Refundable)
All MUZZPLATES are manufactured exactly to the details entered at checkout.
For this reason, returns and refunds are not available where issues are caused by customer input, including:
- Incorrect registration entered
- Spacing entered incorrectly
- Incorrect size, style or finish selected
- Change of mind after ordering
Orders that have entered production or have been dispatched cannot be cancelled or refunded.
This follows UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, which exclude personalised goods from cancellation rights.
When Replacements or Refunds Apply
If something goes wrong on our side, we fix it properly.
A replacement or refund will be provided where:
- The product is faulty or defective
- There is a manufacturing error
- The order arrives damaged
- We are unable to fulfil your order
In these cases, the issue is resolved at no cost to you.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the issue
- Include your order number
Once reviewed, we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Courier Delays
Delivery delays caused by couriers are outside our control and do not qualify for refunds.
We will always assist with tracking and resolving delivery issues where possible.
Documentation Requirements
All MUZZPLATES are supplied through the proper legal process.
Valid DVLA documentation must be provided before production begins.
If documents are not supplied after ordering, the order may be cancelled. In these cases, a refund may be issued minus an administration fee.
2 Year Warranty
All MUZZPLATES are covered by a 2 year manufacturer warranty.
This covers:
- Fading
- Peeling or delamination
- Material defects
- Reflective failure (BS AU 145e compliant plates)
This applies under normal road use.
Not covered:
- Incorrect fitting or installation damage
- Impact damage (stones, accidents, pressure damage)
- Damage caused by chemicals or incorrect cleaning
- Misuse or neglect
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a claim:
- Provide your order number
- Send clear photos of the issue
- Include a short description
We will review and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Returns Process (Where Applicable)
If a return or replacement is approved:
- Contact us within 48 hours
- Provide clear evidence of the issue
We will confirm next steps and arrange a replacement where appropriate.
